Are you running and running to try and lose the excess fat? Cardio needs to be done after your workout to maximize your fat loss efforts. To oxidize (release) fat we need to burn through all of your stored food energy (glycogen) first before your body will tap into its reserve energy (fat). Use your energy for the lean muscle building first and melt fat more efficiently while you sweat after your workout.
Blatant lies right on the package! The term “Net Carbs” was dreamt up by some highly paid marketing executives at an international chain of coffee stores (take your guess). “Net Carbs” explained to me over the phone was “If you add up all of the protein and fat grams in the serving and subtract it from the carbs you are left with net carbs.” Really? This solves nothing and only allows them to write “Only 2 Net Carbs!” on the package.
Non Fat cooking spray? How is this possible when cooking spray is 100% oil which is 100% fat? In marketing terms, “fat free” means less than 0.5 grams of fat per serving. So, any company can alter their serving size to accommodate a less than 0.5 grams of fat per serving and legally call the product Fat Free. The cooking spray example has a serving size of 0.4 seconds of a spray. Yeah, good luck with that Quicksilver.
