THE MISTAKES, LIES AND HALF TRUTHS THAT ARE HOLDING YOU BACK

Are you running and running to try and lose the excess fat?  Cardio needs to be done after your workout to maximize your fat loss efforts.  To oxidize (release) fat we need to burn through all of your stored food energy (glycogen) first before your body will tap into its reserve energy (fat).  Let’s save your intensity for the fat burning, lean muscle building, boost the positive hormonal response and melt fat while we sweat post workout.

Blatant lies right on the package!  The term “Net Carbs” was dreamt up by some highly paid marketing executive at a global coffee store chain (take your guess).  Net Carbs is a completely fabricated term and dreamt up out of thin air, therefore the meaning attached to it can be anything they say it is.  The explanation told to me over the phone was “If you add up all of the protein and fat grams in the serving and subtract it from the carbs you are left with net carbs.”  Um ok?  This solves nothing and only allows them to write “Only 2 Net Carbs” on the package.  SIDE NOTE:  I told the girl on the phone that it made no sense and she agreed with me but said “it’s what they tell me to say.”

Non Fat cooking spray?  How is this possible when cooking spray is 100% oil which is 100% fat?  In marketing terms, “fat free” means less than 0.5 grams of fat per serving.  So, any company can alter their serving size to accommodate a less than 0.5 grams of fat per serving and legally call the product Fat Free.  The cooking spray example has a serving size of 0.4 seconds of a spray.  Yeah, good luck with that Quicksilver.
